The Sand Castle

The Sand Castle

We continue to search for the “ideal” castle made of sand, and what exactly lies beyond it?
Where is the true ideal?
This is an art show that expresses a dream-like world of ephemeral collapse through pole dancing, dance, and video.

I thought to myself.
With the advancement of technology, we have reached an age where we can communicate ourselves through SNS, Instagram, Youtube, etc. The world is full of people seeking their own ideals.
The world is full of people seeking their own ideals.
Even if it is not for the sake of fun and peace.

Suddenly, my mind crosses over to the sandcastles that I used to be fascinated with on the beach as a child. I enjoyed building my own ideals in the sand, as I pleased.
A voice comes out of nowhere.
The ideal castle of today is something different from the sandcastle of my childhood.
And, guided by the voice, the ideal castle, thoroughly built on the outside, is ephemeral and crumbles.
What remains is a space where emptiness drifts in.
I want to ask people a question.
Are you afraid of this empty space, or do you let your heart guide you and go on?

The theme is what ideals are sprouting from the depths of our hearts as the made-up ideals of today collapse.
We have prepared a work of art that combines dance, acrobatic dance, video, costumes, and more.

We invite you from the busy modern world to an extraordinary world of a sand castle.
